Sorry this is late, getting resettled at home took a little longer than we had expected. Here is a quick note of how things went.
Zoe's surgery for a feeding tube was successful and apart from some soreness she is doing very well. She doesn't seem to mind an extra appendage and is quite happy to have nothing on her face.
So as we get used to the care for the PEG, Zoe will continue with her therapies and growing up.
Have a blessed weekend.

Dear little Zoe - happy to hear that your surgery went smoothly and that you are home again. Nothing like being in your own bed after a hospital stay. Hope you heal quickly and the soreness goes away. Start working up to your big Thanksgiving dinner - little mashed potatoes, little turkey and save some room for pie. Praying for your growth and continued developments. God Bless.
Zoe and family,
Zoe, I hope and pray the new feeding tube is not as cumbersome as the other one and that this one gets you all the nutrients you need. I understand Grandpa and Shebna are there with you over the Thanksgiving holiday. I know it has been a long time writing, but know the prayers have always continued for you and your family. Pat Kuhn
